Stop 2 took us to Lake Dardanelle State Park in Arkansas.

Home for the night. It took us 24 minutes to set up. Way faster.

Pizza over the fire for dinner.

Twinkies for dessert. We put a campfire twist on them though. Some were cooked on the fire wrapped in foil, some were cooked over the fire with a skewer, and if your Jovie you just ate it without warming it up. Highly recommend campfire Twinkies.

And checking out the watering hole. Our kiddos got used to the clear ocean swimming and the lake “beach” looked quite different. The sunset was absolutely beautiful. When we got back to our campsite we played UNO, Tenzi, and Rummy.

When we woke up in the morning we went on a hike.

Izzy navigated us through the trails this morning. She did a great job.

When we got back , we noticed this little guy was eating food and quickly ran up the tree.

Only to find out he was eating food from our garbage.

And now we are off to Texas on this 4th of July. Next stop Caprock Canyons State Park.
