
There is a plethora of different types of edible berries in Alaska. These berries are called high-bush berries.


Picking berries.

Laying the berries out to take off the stems.




We then measured the berries to make jam.

Then we boiled the berries.

Next, we squeezed all the juice out of the berries.

Poured it into jars after mixing in sugar and gelatin.

All jarred up and ready to set for jam.
