Party of 6

Adventuring and traveling with a family of 6

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Our last stop in Mexico was my favorite. It was the friendliest port we stopped in.

We rented a taxi for the day and he did not disappoint. Jose was an awesome tour guide. He took us to places that were on our list and few he knew we would enjoy.

Our first stop was a hike to a waterfall called Palo Maria. It was so pretty. It was very warm, which I loved. Have the others acclimated to the cold of Alaska already? Needless to say, it was a lot of fun climbing on the rocks, seeing the beautiful greenery and flowers, and playing in water.

He then took us by beautiful scenery around the coast. This formation is similar to tunnels, and you can kayak through them.

Next, he took us to a spot that was very neat with a lot of history. The road he took us on was pretty gnarly.

He took us to the pier. We ate guacamole and had pina coladas (non-alcoholic of course). It was so yummy!

He took us downtown, where there was very pretty mosaics and some fun with a statue.

We stopped by a gorgeous church on our way back to the port.

So long Mexico!
