Koln was such a neat town. First, we got to climb more stairs to the top of the 2nd largest cathedral in Europe, Kolner Dam. Construction began on the cathedral in 1248 and wasn’t completed until 1880. It was 533 steps to the top.

Next, we visited the Hohenzollern Bridge. Also know as the “Love Locks Bridge.” What made this bridge even cooler was that this bridge was a challenge on the show, Amazing Race. We love this show and were super pumped to be where the contestants once were. However, even cooler than that was we had our own lock made as a family and locked our family love and threw away the key in the river on the bridge.

Okay, by far, the funniest moments happened in the art museum. We visited the Ludwig Museum that houses over 900 of Picasso’s art pieces as well as one of the largest Pop Art collections. After visiting this art museum, I am not sure how we are making it through Rome when we go.

The yummiest part of the trip was the Schokoladenmuseum or in English the Lindt Factory. It was pretty neat seeing the whole process and they gave us lots of chocolates to taste.
