We stayed local on Saturday in Weisbaden. We rode our bikes downtown, stopping for blackberries on the way.

We found an awesome playground on the way.

We then rode by the palace that is downtown Weisbaden.

On our way back toward home, we found castle ruins.

The next day, we drove to Cochem for a medieval festival. What?! A medieval festival at a medieval castle!

After the festival, we began our walk to Winneburg. A castle that we discovered was destroyed by the French. But first, a stop at a candy shop.

The castle ruins were very neat to explore. We got to climb and check out all sorts of tight and tall spaces. We also had our candy we picked up in town. It was delicious.
