Party of 6

Adventuring and traveling with a family of 6

Athens, Greece

We spent a day exploring more of Athens. We made a pit stop at a cafe as we walked towards Athens and took in views of the Parthenon.

The first place we went to check out was the National Observatory of Athens.

Next we visited Athens Ancient Agora. Inside the Ancient Agora is the Temple of Hephaistos. This Ancient Agora was known as the birthplace of democracy. It’s purpose was a marketplace, a hub for courts and government, and philosophical teaching from people like Socrates.

We saw the Roman Agora.

We saw Hadrian’s Library.

We stopped for Gyros and a grocery store for Jovie to make a ham sandwich.

We visited the National Archeological Museum. It was very cool to see lots of things that have been excavated from Greece.

We then headed for a Thanksgiving dinner of American hamburgers at Hard Rock Cafe Athens. They actually had a Thanksgiving menu, which we found comical, but we went for the good old American hamburger.

We ended the day with ice cream for Thanksgiving dessert.
