Party of 6

Adventuring and traveling with a family of 6

Castles, Monuments, Cathedrals, and a Sewer Tour.

On our crash tour of Europe, taking our friends around, we visited some of our favorite European cities; Koln, Brussels, Paris, and Prague.

On our road trip we went to Alsace, France in the town of Ribeauville. There are three castle ruins called Les Trois de Ribeauville. The most preserved of the 3 was Chateau de Saint-Ulrich. It served as a residential palace and strategic fortress. We hiked to all 3.

We visited Koln, Germany again. The Ferguson’s got to put a lock on the “Love Locks Bridge,” see inside the cathedral, and see the town.

We also visited the cities of Brussels and Ghent in the country of Belgium. We ate waffles, walked the beautiful town center, saw an interesting monument, and discovered what the sewer system is like under the streets of Brussels at the Sewer Museum. We also toured the Castle of the Counts, which is a fully intact medieval castle complete with an interesting history.

We visited the iconic city of Paris, France.

The last city we revisited was Prague, Czech Republic. We visited the gorgeous town center, shopped, had one of our favorite desserts, and saw Prague’s mini Eiffle Tower.

One response to “Castles, Monuments, Cathedrals, and a Sewer Tour.”
